Working Principle
The Rotary Feeder is designed for continuous and controlled feeding of powdered materials. The feeding rate can be adjusted by changing the rotational speed of the variable-speed motor. The transmission system consists primarily of a worm gear and worm shaft mechanism, providing stable and reliable speed transmission.
During operation, the material enters the upper section of the feeder from the hopper and flows into the pockets of the feeding rotor. As the rotor rotates, the material is carried through approximately 180° and discharged into the measuring rotor. The measuring rotor then rotates another 180°, transferring the material to the lower discharge outlet and subsequently into the discharge pipe.
This operating process enables continuous and uniform material feeding while helping prevent uncontrolled material flow when the feeder is stopped.
